When life hands you lemons?

Yesterday was a hard day here. My patience was low, Leena's patience was low and I was exhausted. After a huge meltdown from Leena and she was finally able to calm down I got my Citrus Bliss oil from DōTERRA. I mixed it with some coconut oil and let Leena smell it and I smelled it as well. It's divine. Then I proceeded to rub it all over myself and Leena. We were walking orangesicles. Happy orangesicles.
It helped me focus and clean as well. Cleaning and I don't get along. I am more motivated to clean lately though because my yearly spazoid freakout with wanting to move has come around again and we are seriously ready to move forward with it now. The last two years I've gone through a crazy, "I HATE THIS HOUSE AND WANT TO MOVE AND I WANT TO MOVE NOW" period but it was never really feasible. Now, it's time. We are ready to move to a house with more land. Land to grow a substantial amount of our food. Land to have chickens and farm animals for pets. Land to rescue animals and foster them till we find them forever homes. Land to have our daughters be able to roam and explore. Chase faeries and dragonflies. Land to spread our wings. So. This is happening. And I've never been more motivated to clean in my life.

Let's do this citrus bliss.

Peace and Love.

  1. Go for it! I wish I had the money to have a home with more space. In the meantime I'm just living in a small apartment in the city. I have my boyfriend and pets though so that is enough for now. I wish you the best of luck with your cleaning. I personally hold onto hematite when I need to clean and get things done. Keeps me grounded and determined :)

    1. Thanks! I'll have to get some hematite. I've been meaning to. That's good to know! We must learn to make the places we live home for the time it is we inhabit those spaces and we must also learn to listen closely for when it's time to move on. I can't wait! Thanks for the encouragement!

  2. I've wanted to get into essential oils. I think there's something really wonderful about connecting scents with moods and using them to heal. I wonder what scent is good to ground a person. I usually find myself anxious and stressed. Maybe lavender or chamomile would work well.

Just reading about your citrus oil, I can smell it! I love citrus.

Also, totally hearing you on the moving theme. I'm about to give my notice, and am starting to feel the itch to pack already...

    1. If you'd like more information on essential oils, I can help you out. :) This is not only about using them for their scents but also for using the plant for it's incredible healing powers. I'm so glad I found these oils.
The citrus bliss smells exactly like an orangesicle. I LOVE it. It's one of my newest ones.
Go for the move! It's scary and wonderful at the same time.

    2. YES! i would love to chat about the oils. i didn't even think about them beyond the smell...

I agree about the move...a chance of pace and scene and space can be so refreshing in life! there's too much stagnant energy where I am right now.
